Filing Dates:
 May 7th to August 6th: Filing period for Supreme Court Justices, District Court Judges and Circuit Court Judges.
May 17th to June1st: Filing period for application for nomination of partisan candidates, includes " precinct persons"
* Precinct Persons must be registered Republican voters and live in the precinct they filed in (there are no time limitations).
August 4th to 23rd: Filing period for candidates for School or Community College Trustee and special district subsequent Directors.
Election Dates:
May 8th: Town Election
June 10th: Last day to certify the list of primary election candidates.
August 6th: Voter registration closes.
August 21st: Primary Election Day.
November 6th: General Election Day.
